The 2026 Season Has Begun

There's a particular kind of quiet that settles over Vermont in the weeks before wedding season — the green coming back to the mountains, the venues shaking off winter, the calendar filling in one beautiful couple at a time. And then, all at once, it's here.
Our 2026 season has officially begun, and I wanted to pull back the curtain a little on what these first weeks have looked like.
Off to a Beautiful Start
We opened in mid-June with Tracey and Jeremy at the Inn at Mountain View Farm — a celebration where Ted Mann set the tone with a cocktail hour that had guests lingering long after their glasses were full. Just a week later we were in two places at once: Taylor and Connor at Cobb Hill Estate in New Hampshire, complete with a sparkler send-off that lit up the night, and Isadora and Wesley at Philo Ridge Farm — an intimate gathering of seventeen that proved, beautifully, that the smallest weddings often hold the most.
If you've ever wondered what it takes to run two celebrations on the same weekend, the answer is a team you trust completely. My DOCs and assistants are the reason these days feel effortless to our couples, and watching them work is one of my quiet joys of the season.
What's Ahead
The summer ahead is full in the best way. We're deep in tent design and vendor coordination for a roster of late-summer and fall celebrations — from a "Camp"-themed weekend complete with a canoe beer station, to an Enchanted Forest in September, to an Alice in Wonderland affair come October. Every one of them is its own world, and that's exactly how we like it.
Behind the scenes, we're sourcing the unexpected (yes, a petting zoo is currently on my to-do list), refining floor plans, and pairing wines that tell a story — because here, every sip and every bite is part of the celebration.
Why We Do This
Each season reminds me why I built Green Mountain Gatherings in the first place. It's not the logistics, though we love a well-run timeline. It's the moment a couple steps into a space we've orchestrated for them and simply gets to be there — present, cared for, surrounded by the people they love. That's the whole point. Everything else is in service of it.
To our 2026 couples: thank you for trusting us with your day. We are so honored to be in it with you.
Here's to a season crafted with care and celebrated with joy.
Warmly,
Danielle
